Meet Brittany
My passion for health and wellness began when I turned to yoga after an injury in my twenties. This interest grew as I immersed myself in Ayurveda, a holistic whole-body system of medicine that originated in India more than 3,000 years ago. Seeking to deepen my knowledge and professionalize, I completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and a 600-hour Ayurvedic Counselor Training shortly after a life-changing trip to India. There, I immersed myself in the millennia-old Indian and Ayurvedic culture and returned with renewed purpose.
Particularly while experiencing pregnancy and postpartum myself, I worked with an Ayurvedic doula friend who provided nurturing support, helping me navigate the early weeks of motherhood during the most vulnerable and transformative period of my life thus far. Having someone to care for me and prepare nourishing meals each day allowed me to rest and recover from childbirth far more quickly and stabilized than I had expected. This support made a profound difference in my healing journey, enabling more time for rest and energy to care for my little one. After experiencing this firsthand, I am now dedicated to supporting women through their own motherhood journey by offering personalized 1:1 Ayurvedic postpartum care including freshly cooked meals, warm oil massages, and emotional support to help mothers heal and thrive during this significant time. Together, we can create a personalized postpartum plan and explore what options are best suited for you. Feel free to reach out if you want more details or have questions.
